Every family history is different. Some people need help making sense of what they already have. Others want a defined piece of original research. Some are navigating DNA or adoption. These packages are designed to give you clear, safe ways to move forward.
All work is carried out with care, professional judgement, and respect for the people behind the records.
A note about search results and research time
In the vast majority of cases I am able to find the information you require using the records available in UK and Australian archives, civil registrations, census returns, parish registers, and other sources. However, you should be aware that sometimes records are missing, incomplete, damaged, or never created in the first place, and there may be gaps in the archive that cannot be filled.
Where this is the case, I will still charge for the time spent carrying out the research, because this includes careful searching, analysis, and judgement about whether the evidence exists and how best to proceed. I will always discuss any limitations or uncertainty in the evidence in your report, and explain what has been searched and why.
